Everything is within a five-minute walk, including the duomo, church and central shopping. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend the hotel, right in the centre of Catania. We’d booked an upscale room, but on arrival were pleasantly surprised with an upgrade to the presidential suite. It was amazing, artistic, well kept and fully functional, with two terraces: a large one outside the room and another on the rooftop that you can access from inside. The suite is on the top floor. The room was quiet, with only the church bells audible. The neighbouring apartment buildings are close, but the window coverings gave us privacy. Check-in was smooth, and Armando was patient, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. He spent a lot of time with us.

Our room was called "tempo", and it was absolutely charming. Original details and the whole atmosphere gave this unique, beautiful place a lot of character and soul. It felt more like a home than a hotel. The staff were incredibly kind, and the central location made it easy to explore Catania. We’ll definitely stay here again when we next visit the city.

We travel all over the world, and this hotel truly impressed us. The service quality was outstanding, the location was great, and the whole experience felt fantastic and unique. Without a doubt, this is the place to stay in Catania.

The noise outside my room went on until 2:30 am, and the hotel amenities were seriously lacking. When I complained, they couldn’t move me to another room, so I checked out. They refused to give me any refund. This was the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Do NOT stay here.

We stayed here for four nights on our honeymoon. The hotel was stunning, and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. The breakfast was easily the best hotel breakfast I could imagine, with a wide choice of eggs, jams, pastries, meat, cheese and drinks. It was easy to walk to everything we wanted to do, and both the hotel and area felt very safe. It was quite loud at night in the city centre, but we slept fine with white noise playing on the TV. We’ll definitely recommend the hotel to friends and family visiting Catania, and hopefully we’ll come back too!
