Best Western Hotel Mediterraneo

The staff deserve top marks, they were always helpful. The rooms were clean, roomy and comfortable, with big bathrooms, a safe, air conditioning and lots of charging sockets. Breakfast could get crowded when several groups were there. The hotel is a short walk from Villa Bellini, and about 15 minutes from the cathedral, so it’s well located even if it’s not right in the city’s busiest area. A good place to stay in Catania.

A three-star hotel that feels more like five. Great rooms, a fantastic breakfast, and staff who were always courteous and available. It’s a truly international hotel right in the heart of Catania. Highly recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay. The area was quiet but still within walking distance of the city center, and the staff were friendly. Our room was spacious and clean, and breakfast was excellent and reasonably priced. We especially loved the cappuccino art.

I was there briefly for work. The room was clean and well equipped, and the staff were excellent and spoke good English. Bring an adapter, though, since the room only had European two-pin outlets. Breakfast mixed western-style options with Italian touches, and the location made it easy to explore central Catania on foot. If you’re travelling alone, be aware that a wrong turn just one block beyond the tourist area can take you into a neighborhood where the migrants didn’t seem very friendly.
