Hotel Borgo Verde

A small hotel with really friendly receptionists. Our room was clean and had a nice view, though it got a little cold at night. Breakfast was the main drawback for me, since there was no fresh fruit or vegetables at all. If a croissant and coffee is enough for you, this place should be fine.

I was looking for somewhere peaceful after full days in the city, and this felt like an oasis. It’s a bit outside the city centre, but there’s easy access to buses or the metro, or it’s a 30-minute walk down to town. My room was spacious and clean, and got tidied every day with fresh towels and bed linen and a refilled fridge. The food was very good, home-cooked style, like grandma was looking after you. I also had a roomy balcony that made the room feel even bigger. The staff were so helpful when my flight was cancelled and I arrived very late. They sent a detailed video explaining how to get my key and find my room, and told me to call if anything went wrong. I felt at home here. If you like peace and quiet and don’t mind staying outside the city, this is the place.

We had an amazing stay at this calm hotel. The receptionist was very friendly, and our clean room had a lovely balcony view. It’s a bit far from the city, though.

The free breakfast was wonderful, and the staff will make cappuccino, caffe machiato, or espresso. They speak enough English to give great service to non-Italian speakers like us. Many rooms have decks tucked privately among palms and other greenery. It’s a beautiful suburban spot, about a ten-minute walk from San Null Metro station. Highly recommend for the price.
