We booked two rooms, and one was freezing because the heating didn’t work. Neither room had been warmed up before we arrived, so the first night was really uncomfortable. We also weren’t told that the kitchen was off limits, and the listing said nothing about restrictions. Finding cameras in the kitchen and hallway felt like a serious invasion of privacy. We wanted to order breakfast and eat our own food at the dining table, but the host saw us on the cameras, came up, and yelled at us for using the kitchen. It made us feel unwelcome, and the host’s behavior was rude. With the heating problem and such poor communication, the stay was very unpleasant. I wouldn’t recommend this apartment if you want a comfortable, hassle-free stay.

The rooms are clean and nice, with great sea views. The pool is huge and clean, though check the season before you go: it opens on 15th of June. You also have to wear a swimming hat. The owner’s English isn’t very good.

The whole stay was distressing and dreadful. We felt like we were under house arrest, and I’d tell people to avoid this place at all costs. We’d booked four nights, but when we arrived, we found the pool wasn’t working. The photos of that spectacular pool were the main reason I booked. When I asked about cancelling and going elsewhere, the host refused, saying I’d booked a bed, not a pool, and that the broken pool wasn’t her fault. Each day she said it would be fixed. We had two young children who had their hearts set on it, and there was nothing else to do in the area. There was a little pool, but we didn’t use it: we hadn’t booked for a paddling pool, and the host said the pH levels were dangerously high. I didn’t want to risk burning the children’s skin. The next morning, I used the washing machine in the communal kitchen. The host texted to demand to know why and banned me from the kitchen. There was no sign on the machine until after we’d used it. You shouldn’t ban a family from the kitchen when there are no other facilities nearby, especially when we were travelling with two young children and the closest place to eat was a 15-minute walk away. It was a bed and breakfast, but breakfast cost 30 euros a day. We had to ask for toilet paper and soap, and I was given one roll. The room was cleaned once in four days. We didn’t know we were meant to keep it tidy for the cleaner, and since I’d been banned from the kitchen, I asked where to put the rubbish. The host said outside, but had never told us that or shown us the bins. Our rubbish was stacked as neatly as possible next to the overflowing bin. The ceiling started leaking and kept leaking all day, so we couldn’t use the bathroom. We also told the host the shower wasn’t draining. She accused my 9-year-old daughters of breaking it and said she felt we were even. On our last day, I told her how disappointed I was about the pool and leaking roof, and asked whether she’d consider a discount. She sent me the logo of the discount store euro spin. She also accused me of breaking the door frame and said it would cost her 100 euros, although she’d been in the room five minutes before we left and the door was fine. I didn’t break the blind either. I pulled it up in front of her, and it went up too high. The host said the room wasn’t clean and she’d have to pay extra for the cleaner. She bought us McDonald's on the last day, probably at a cost of 20 euros, but that didn’t make up for the rest. I hadn’t asked for a full refund. I asked to leave after a full refund, then at the end asked if she’d consider a discount because of all the problems. Blaming my children for the shower, accusing us over the rubbish when there was no other bin available, and making those other accusations felt ignorant and greedy. Her conduct was a disgrace.

There was a continental breakfast, and the place was orderly and professional. The sea view was nice.
