Catania Center B&B

I was impressed by how welcoming everyone was and how well communication went before and throughout our stay. Check-in was quick and easy, even after hours. The whole place was very clean, and the rooms were tidied and cleaned every day. I'm convinced this could be the best place to stay in Catania.

The staff are friendly, and communication is easy and good. The rooms were very, very clean, and guests get a nice breakfast with sweet pastries, juice, coffee, tea, and more. The location is good too, close to all the points of interest in Catania.

For a budget stay, it's okay if you don't have high standards, though calling it a hotel feels like a stretch; it seemed more like an AirBNB. The hot water is limited, so you can end up wanting a hot shower and not getting one. You can also hear everything people in the neighboring rooms do, which gets annoying if there are kids next door.

What made the stay especially pleasant was how at home we felt. The owner was kind and helpful from the start, and the woman who welcomed us at breakfast was also wonderful. The room was comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed. The central location was convenient, and self check-in worked well for us arriving in the evening.
