City Fair

The host was excellent, and I felt very safe. The location is really good, with a bus stop and metro station just a one-minute walk away. There are lots of Indian and continental restaurants close by. I came to Catania for a scientific conference and stayed five nights, which was a very pleasant experience. The breakfast quality could be better.

The host was absolutely amazing, always helpful, and recommended the best places in Catania. Breakfast was delicious, with fresh pastries, and both the room and bathroom were very clean. The B&B is right in the middle of the city center, within walking distance of all the attractions. There are restaurants and pubs downstairs, and the bus station for arrivals from the airport is 10m away. I stayed two nights and hope to come back in two weeks. Thank you so much, see you soon! I stayed at City Fair for two weeks. The single room was more than adequate, and the people were friendly. It’s so close to the main street, the Etnea. From there you can sit on the elephant fountain steps, opposite the Doumo.

This place felt like a home from home. My en suite room was cosy and efficient, with a mini balcony. Towels were changed daily or every other day, much like at a hotel, and a light breakfast was available each morning. The owners are a sweet Italian family, warm, smiley, and super helpful. They gave us a lovely welcome and a list of great places to visit and try. The location is great too, just a few minutes’ walk from the city center and around the corner from a lively road full of bars and restaurants. I loved every minute here!
