Doralice is hard to beat for location. To stay any more central in Catania, you’d have to sleep on the elephant’s back. The bed was comfortable, the shower decent, and our room had a great view of piazza universita. The rooms themselves are okay, but cleanliness could’ve been better. The furnishings are basic, with little bits of damage here and there, and the room could use some freshening up. Service and breakfast weren’t great. The breakfast room was small and a bit gloomy, and some fruit and something savory would have helped. For the money, it was decent.

B@B Doralice was a lovely place to stay. Mauro was kind and quick to respond, and the room was cleaned every day. We had a magical balcony view, and the location was perfect, close to everything and in a very safe area. I’d highly recommend it.

We stayed for three days and had no problems. The rooms were spacious, the balconies had a lovely view, and the central location was a big plus. One thing to know is they don’t clean the room while a pet is inside. The breakfast area could be improved.

The rooms were clean, with crisp white linens, and we had a lovely balcony view. Angela was a kind and friendly owner. We saw the wedding and it was truly amazing 💫 Breakfast was a small treat, with croissants, homemade cakes and coffee. I recommend staying here ☺️

Our Hostelworld booking couldn’t be honored because they told us the place was already fully booked. We paid and got nothing for it. Please be careful.
