The location made it easy to get around Catania and reach the main sights, restaurants and transport. I also loved the breakfast, with lots of high-quality choices and fresh products in a nice atmosphere. Most of all, the staff made me feel so welcome and looked after. They were kind, professional, helpful and always smiling. My room was beautiful, spotless, spacious and comfortable, with lovely design details. Everything felt perfect from arrival through the whole stay. I'd happily come back and absolutely recommend it.

We had a beautiful room and a very good dinner and breakfast at the restaurant. The reception staff were wonderful and so helpful. Fabulous hotel, highly recommend.

The hotel looked lovely, but after this experience I probably won't visit. I was travelling from New York City and had been excited to spend a few days in Sicily. With rain, 25 mph winds and possible flooding forecast over the weekend, I was advised to cancel. I'd booked a non-refundable room and had planned to go, but contacted the concierge to explain the situation and ask for a refund. She said she couldn't do anything, though I could email the hotel for the owner to review it. I explained my concerns by email, and the owner also refused a refund. The team showed no compassion for what Sicily was experiencing, and offered no solution. I would have appreciated credit for a future stay, since the circumstances were outside both our control, and I'd gladly have returned if a refund wasn't possible. I booked through EXPEDIA, and they contacted the hotel too, but the hotel said no to them as well. It was really disappointing.

Valentina and Nadia made the stay especially memorable. They arranged a better room than the one I'd booked, let me check out late, and were particularly accommodating when I missed my connecting train to Rome. Their care and attention made me feel special. Habitat is beautiful, with spacious, comfortable rooms tastefully decorated, and it's in a brilliant spot near Teatro Massimo. Breakfast was wonderful, and the dining staff were very kind. I don't usually leave reviews, but I wanted to say how grateful I am. It was a pleasure staying here, and I hope to return. Thanks to all the staff.
