I made the reservation on the hotel website in early November for February. About a week before travelling, an email arrived saying it had been cancelled because my card didn’t have enough funds. Nobody had warned me or tried to reach me beforehand. I put money on the card straight away and replied asking them to keep the booking, saying they could charge whatever was due. They said it was already cancelled. By then the room prices had doubled, and I was told I’d need to book again at the much higher rate. That felt extremely unfair and unprofessional. Cancelling a reservation I’d had for a long time just days before the trip, without proper warning, and then expecting me to pay double was very disappointing. I wouldn’t recommend booking here given the inflexible response and poor handling of the situation.

Marco and Domenico made us feel so welcome, and Marco was an excellent guide on our trip to Etna. He made everything interesting. We loved the old-fashioned room with its high ceilings. It felt very authentic, though probably not to everyone’s taste. Grazie.

Marco and Domenico were wonderful, welcoming us warmly and helping us throughout with great tips. My husband Vinicius and I stayed for five days, and we already can’t wait to come back soon ❤️

We regret trying to book here. The payment page redirected us to the hotel’s own website, where it clearly said we’d pay at check-out, but they charged us in advance twice. We cancelled as soon as we spotted the duplicate charge. Since then, our emails have gone unanswered and the money hasn’t been refunded. It felt completely untrustworthy. Stay away!
