Our welcome from Fulvio set the tone. He greeted us himself, shared helpful local suggestions, and left a bottle of Etna rosso, two cold colas, bottled water, and enough coffee pods for our stay. Those thoughtful extras made us feel like guests. Il Vicoletto Guest House Catania is tucked on a quiet side street in the historic center. Via Etnea is a 10-minute walk away and the Duomo about 15 minutes. The restored 18th-century building has high ceilings, original tiled floors, and a charming inner courtyard, while still offering modern comforts. We stayed in a spacious, spotless studio apartment with a kitchenette, strong air conditioning, fast Wi-Fi, and a very comfortable king bed. The blackout curtains and double-glazed windows kept the city noise out, and we slept soundly. Bakeries, trattorie, and the famous Pescheria fish market are just around the corner. The airport, Catania Fontanarossa, is a 15-minute taxi ride away. We wanted an independent stay with Sicilian hospitality, and this was just right. We left already planning to come back. Highly recommended.

A small, well-equipped apartment that worked perfectly for two. There are plenty of attractions nearby, and before we arrived the host sent us lots of suggestions for places to see and eat. Highly recommended! 😊

The husband-and-wife owners were delightful and so helpful, sharing loads of ideas for what to see and where to eat. Their cute, well-cared-for apartment is only two minutes from Catania's main attractions. Highly recommended!

The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, and the loft is a beautiful place to stay in central Catania. All the sights are just steps away, with Alibus stops and the train station nearby too. Highly recommended!

Fulvio and Roberta were friendly and always ready to help with what we needed. The four of us had a great stay in this clean, well-appointed place just steps from the historic center and Catania's nightlife. The bed and sofa bed were both comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped, and there were coffee pods for breakfast. We'll be back soon!
