The rooms are nice and the service is kind, though nobody speaks English. Breakfast is very basic, and you have to ask what they have. It's all sweet things, dolce vita :) The Wi-Fi was weak in our room. The place is a 15-minute walk from both the center and the train station, right on the edge of an industrial area. Shops are scarce and not easy to spot, though there's a grocery store tucked away on a nearby street.

The location was awkward in the evenings, with nowhere open nearby, so you'd need a car. But the car park they charge for is about a five-minute walk away, which is a pain with kids. The lift also stops at a mezzanine instead of the ground floor, another hassle with children and strollers. Check-in came with practically no explanation, and although a Google search calls it a B&B, it felt more like a guesthouse with almost nothing provided. The room had a tiny mini fridge. Since we were traveling with children, I complained and the owner sent a microwave. The website says everything has been thought of, but in practice, lots of basics are missing. It also claims parking is included, with "only on request" in parentheses. They have just one space, and secure parking is about a five-minute walk away for an extra €20 per night. The room itself was rough too. Dust under the beds rolled around like hay bales when the doors opened. One bed had a decent mattress, so to speak, while the other sagged. The sink plug was stuck down, and water took fifteen minutes to drain, luckily because the seal was worn. The toilet was right beside the bathroom door, so even kids could only use it with the door either shut or wide open. The showerhead needs replacing, and the automatic door key worked only after about fifty tries. I WILL NEVER GO BACK. I hope the owners fix the things that can be fixed.

The owners were great to communicate with, and the balcony room was spacious and clean. You can walk everywhere, and there's a shop just around the corner. We did miss having a microwave and kettle, even in the hallway, since there was no way to make tea or coffee or heat food. Please consider adding them, it would make things easier. Thanks so much, I highly recommend the place!
