The biggest thing for us was the service. Sylvio and his counterpart, Valentina, were top-notch, friendly, professional and incredibly helpful from the moment we arrived. They drew us maps, marked the must-see sights, and pointed out local gems and good places to eat we wouldn't have found ourselves. When we arrived with a case of wine that was a logistical problem, Sylvio got right on it. He contacted a local shipping center, Mail Boxes Etc., checked the details and sent us there straight away. Within an hour the problem was sorted, and he even followed up the next day to make sure everything was taken care of. The Liberty Hotel in Catania is an adorable, relaxing, intimate boutique hotel with only 18 rooms, so the staff can take care of your every need. We just left and I can't recommend it enough. Don't hesitate to stay here!

The front desk staff were really friendly and helpful, and the room was quiet and comfortable, with plenty of towels and soap. We could walk 5-30 minutes to most places we wanted to see in Catania. Breakfast was the weak point: it took 25 minutes before anyone took my coffee order, and omelettes cost extra.

What made the stay for us was how warmly everyone treated us, from reception and housekeeping to the restaurant staff. Silvio deserves a special thank you. He went out of his way to make sure we had a great time, and made the visit feel even more special. Our suite was beautiful and very spacious, with two balconies and a huge terrace. There were good restaurants nearby, and the historic center was an easy walk away. We stayed about two weeks ago and would come back whenever we're in Catania.

The ambience was really cool, and the staff were nice. The rooms were lovely too. It's a little away from the main tourist spots, in a nice and interesting neighborhood.

The hotel is peaceful and close to the city center and sights. I really enjoyed its distinctive style and atmosphere, the good food, and the comfortable beds. The staff are the best in the city, so friendly and welcoming. I recommend staying at Liberty Hotel!
