Mènnula

Top!!!

The place was spotless and new, and the bed was really comfortable. It’s handy for both the Old Town and the train station, too. Christian and Ida communicated with us brilliantly, and the Italian breakfast was coffee and a croissant at a pastry shop three minutes away. The only thing missing was somewhere to put toiletries in the bathroom, no shelves or hangers. Thanks, Kasia and Marcin.

We had such a pleasant weekend here. The breakfast was generous, and the B&B itself felt welcoming and was kept very clean and well cared for. The owner was especially friendly and always available. I’d recommend it to anyone after a relaxing, hospitable stay.

The staff made us feel welcome right away, with thoughtful tips on places to visit, meals, and getting around. You can tell they put real care into running B&B Mennula. On Via Francesco Crispi, it’s just a short walk to the historic center and many Catania sights, with public transport close by as well. Our room was bright, spacious, and nicely furnished, with a comfortable bed, good air conditioning, and a modern bathroom that was spotless. The neighborhood was quiet, and the soundproofing helped us sleep well. The price felt very fair for the attention and comfort we got. We’d happily stay at B&B Mennula again on a return to Catania, and recommend it for a romantic, comfortable, authentic visit.
