Montello Guest House & Apartment

There were supermarkets, restaurants, and shops close by, and the metro was just 2 minutes away. We stayed from 25 to 29/08/2024, at €200 per person. The bedroom and bathroom were comfortable and nicely furnished, with linens, air conditioning, a kettle, refrigerator, and coffee maker. If I'm back in Catania, I'd stay here again.

Pierluigi was friendly and really helpful, even helping us plan our day in Catania. We had a comfortable room and a very comfortable bed, in a characterful spot near the city center. The area was quiet and felt safe. A wonderful experience, thank you.

The room was huge and Pierluigi was welcoming, kind, and good at making us feel comfortable without hovering. I also really liked being able to check in by ourselves. Still, the place has a lot of potential that isn't being used. The furnishings felt old, heavy, and stuffy, and weren't pleasant to look at. The balcony was filthy and poorly kept, and the shower tray was dirty. The bathroom as a whole wasn't exactly spotless, either. I can't really judge the location. It's near the central bus station, but as a 30-year-old woman traveling alone, I found the area seemed unsafe, run-down, and a bit dirty, much like the city in general. Lots of small details at the B&B could be improved.

Pierluigi was extremely kind and gave us all the help we needed. The accommodation was lovely, clean, and had every comfort. We'll definitely come back!
