We felt very comfortable here, and Giulia looked after us well. The apartment is in a handy spot in Catania, near the old town and with restaurants and bars easy to reach, while still being quiet. Everything suited us, and we’d happily return.

The apartment was extremely cold, and even getting the front door open was a struggle. What was described on the booking page didn’t match what we found, and the photos weren’t true to the place. Communication was a bit unusual too, with the landlady handling issues remotely whenever she could. It wasn’t a very positive stay.

The place we stayed in looked nothing like the host’s Google photos, and the condition was dirty and run-down. It was a thoroughly negative experience, and I wouldn’t recommend staying under these conditions. The host should update the photos and show the two available accommodations separately. The walls could use freshening up, and the outlets and furniture need attention.

The location is central, but the terrace was completely neglected and the air-conditioning filters were extremely dirty, seemingly not cleaned in at least two years. There were also annoying people in the neighboring apartments.

Valentina gave us a wonderful welcome and was a super host. The apartment was bright and comfortable, with a beautiful terrace. Its location is excellent, with plenty of services nearby, including transfers and Etna excursions. I recommend it!
