The rooftop terrace was a highlight, with a fantastic view across central Catania to Mount Etna. I also loved having comfortable shared spaces where I could relax, eat, work, or chat with other travelers. The rooms and bathrooms were cleaned thoroughly every day, which put me at ease. Most of all, the people here were among the friendliest I've met on my travels. This place feels like an oasis in a world that can be tough, and you can unwind here without spending a lot.

Free breakfast and pasta every evening made this a great choice on a budget, and the price felt well worth it. The rooftop has a beautiful view of the city and Etna. It's one of the loveliest, coziest hostels I've stayed in, decorated with real care for the details. The staff were kind and helpful, and we had a great time. I'd absolutely recommend it and can't wait to return.

I planned on three nights at Ostello Degli Elefanti and ended up returning for several more stays. The room had what I needed, including comfortable beds, plenty of space, and a lovely view over the square. The bathroom was new, clean, and roomy, and I looked forward to the shower every day. The staff were so kind, helpful, and welcoming. My favorite part was meeting inspiring travelers during rooftop Happy Hours, with the best sunset spot in town. And the free breakfast and pasta are a great extra. I'd recommend it and would definitely come back to Catania!

I was there for just one night, but had a great time. The historic interior is beautiful, the rooftop is amazing, and the staff are friendly and always smiling. Free pasta too! The showers could use some updating, though.

I have to return just for the people and the hostel. The location, staff, and terrace were all awesome, and breakfast was great every morning, served with a smile by Sara e Angela. There was evening pasta where you could meet people, plus lots to do: ping pong, board games, guitars, and music. Thank you!
