Danila was very accommodating, and everything was arranged over WhatsApp. The apartment sits in Catania's old town, so you can walk to pretty much everything. It's a handy place to stay, though it feels a bit worn and could have been cleaned better. Getting luggage up two flights of stairs also makes it a poor fit for anyone with mobility issues.

Danila was such a great host, and we really appreciated all the recommendations. There are some lovely restaurants to try. The location is superb, about 10 minutes from the city centre and right at the entrance to Catania. It was especially handy for us with a rental car. This place is a gem, don't miss it. Catania is a lively, beautiful city, and this apartment is right in the middle of things, near shops, restaurants, and bars. It's a shame the place seems neglected. The hygiene and cleanliness are questionable, and the bathroom smells of sewage and mold. The price feels disproportionate for the service. It also isn't suitable for people with mobility issues. With better care, it could have a lot of potential.
