Even though it's right in the city center, the place was wonderfully quiet at night. Chiara took care of the booking and got everything organized, while Mafalda kept the space spotless and smelling fresh. They made us feel at home, with so much care and attention to detail. When unexpected problems came up with our car, room key, and other things, they gave us great advice and helped us through several emergencies, even when they didn't have to. They treated us like friends, not just guests. If you'd like to feel part of the Sicilian community instead of just being a tourist, I'd really recommend staying here. :)

The owner and staff were cooperative and very good, and the price was good too. It was a great decision, and I strongly recommend the place. The home and location were perfect, the rooms matched the pictures, and almost everything listed in the advertisement was there. Just know that they don't clean the room or replace the trash bags, and there weren't any cleaning tools for us to use ourselves.

A complete disaster. I booked through booking and paid for a decent place with more than the basics, including a sofa, a nice bathroom, and kitchen facilities. What we got was a shabby room that looked nothing like the one I'd reserved, more like a hostel. When I complained, they acted as if they knew nothing about it and said we'd be moved to the proper place the next morning. I asked the girl next door, and apparently they'd done the same thing to them. We ended up overpaying for a hostel and canceled through booking. Luckily, we found somewhere else.

The apartment has lots of appliances and is within walking distance of the center, though Maps pins it misleadingly at the other end of the street. It was nice, but it lacked a few things that would have made it feel fully equipped for a stay.
