A fun, funky place to stay, with friendly and helpful owners. It's a handy base for exploring Catania, close to some interesting bars and restaurants.

We ran into a problem with our reservation, but the staff handled it perfectly. They were kind and understanding throughout. I definitely recommend this place.

Parking comes with the apartment, which is invaluable in Catania. The parking attendant did damage my car while parking, but I don't hold the owner responsible for that. The apartment is small and very central, with friendly service before and during my stay. Breakfast is covered by a voucher for a decent nearby café. There isn't an elevator, so you'll need to carry your bags up to the first floor on foot. :)

What stood out most was how quiet the apartment stayed at night. It's spacious and sits on a side street off Via Etnea, about a five-minute walk from Villa Bellini, where you can get off the Alibus from the airport. The owners welcomed us warmly and gave us lots of useful information, especially about where to eat. The bed was comfortable, and we could choose between soft and firm pillows. There's air conditioning, plus a well-equipped bathroom with a good-sized shower and a whirlpool tub. Breakfast was covered by a voucher for a great pastry shop nearby. The Duomo is a lovely ten-minute walk, with shop windows to browse along the way. From the Duomo, the "D" bus goes to all the lidos. We went to Lido America, which was quiet, reasonably priced, and had good self-service options. We had a great time and hope to come back soon.
