Madison

The food was awful and the same every day. There was mold in the rooms, and everything seemed to be falling apart. The elevator jammed, so we had to call the fire brigade to get the doors open. I don't recommend it.

We'd been here once before, and we like the place enough to come back again in a few years. For a family with children aged 3 and 5, the price was fair and the basic things we needed were there. The room was nice, everything worked, and nothing was broken. Our all-inclusive deal included breakfast and two full meals daily, plus one beach umbrella and two sunbeds. The staff were friendly and helpful, though don't count on them speaking English, as most spoke only Italian. There's room for improvement, but in the end it was worth the money.

Our whole family had a very good holiday here 😊. The food was lovely, with plenty of pasta, meat, and fish, and the buffet offered all sorts of salads and cold cuts. All-inclusive also covered sunbeds and a parasol at number 8 lele Beach, where the service was very good. Cold still and sparkling water were free there too.

I had a great stay at the Madison while in town for MotoGP at Misano Circuit. The hotel is close to the seafront, the main shopping area, and plenty of nice restaurants. Getting there from Stanstead, I took the no9 aerobus to Rimini train station, then a two-stop train journey to Catalonia. From Catalonia station it was about a 15-minute walk. I hired a bike to reach Misano Circuit, roughly 25 minutes of cycling on mostly flat roads. Driving there looked like a bad idea, as traffic was terrible. My room and bathroom were nice and cleaned daily, and the room looked over a pleasant hotel pool. It was large enough for a proper swim, unlike some smaller hotel pools, and I used it. Breakfast was good, though scrambled egg wasn't always available. I didn't have dinner at the hotel, but the restaurant seemed busy each night. The desk staff were friendly and helpful. Bikes can be borrowed free for up to two hours, and they also offer packed lunches. There's a bar and hot or cold lunches for sale. I had a hamburger and chips one day, which was fine. All in all, a great stay.
