The location is right in the center, yet it stayed quiet, and Salerno, the start of the Amalfi Coast, and several tourist spots are within about a half-hour drive. The owners were kind and available for questions or directions, and the rooms were spacious, clean, and modern. Our only room issue was that it didn't have a bidet; otherwise we found no defects. Just to clarify, this is a guesthouse rather than a B&B, though there are plenty of cafes on the square for a good breakfast at a fair price. We parked in a paid garage near the property, inside a restricted traffic zone, and the owner went out of her way to let the authorities know we were coming. I recommend it.

The rooms are spotless and have been renovated really well. Just be aware that getting up there means climbing three narrow, steep flights of stairs. Booking.com calls it a bed and breakfast, but breakfast isn't provided.

From the balcony we got to watch the beautiful village festival on June 25th, with Renaissance costumes recreated down to the details, noisy drums and trumpets, flag-wavers, and fireworks at the end. The B&B itself is clean and looks out over the main square of Cava de' Tirreni. It's in an old building, so the stairs up are steep, but there's an "electric" wheelchair to help people climb them. 😉😊

Getting into the rooms is handled electronically by the owner, so you need to wait for him to let you in. There's also a narrow, steep staircase at the entrance.
