Villa Fernanda

You need a car to stay here, and the roads up to the villa are steep. There are two ways in, though one is less steep. Once there, it's so peaceful, with hardly anyone around. We were a family of five and stayed six nights in this quiet little paradise. Maria, Ida and their mum run the place, and they were attentive and ready to help with anything. Ida arranged pizza delivery on our first night because we were tired after the flight. The next morning, they made cappuccinos and ordered lovely croissants for us to eat by the pool. They even offered to do our grocery shopping. Cava de'terreni is worth visiting, with friendly locals, lots of shops and a relaxed feel. There are some local hill restaurants worth trying, including nearby Protea and La Piazzetta. And a special mention for "Boss", the friendly, chilled French bulldog we all loved petting and saying hi to every day.

Lovely place, with great gatekeepers. Everything was really nice, from the food to the rooms.

The pool is wonderful, surrounded by lots of distinctive little corners, and the view is incredible. The staff were kind and helpful. We go there now and then for a relaxing day, and the greenery, quiet and select clientele make it easy to recharge. It's a real paradise. I've never stayed overnight, so I can't say anything about the rooms.

The owners are like friends you always want to see again, and the family atmosphere keeps us coming back. It's an enchanting property with a garden, a very large pool and a sea view. It's always peaceful, unless there are rude people around. Everyone's friendliness is what brings us back. Congratulations to everyone.
