We came away rested and grateful, and would happily return to Borgo Romantico Green Relais. The place is an appealing mix of an elegant countryside retreat and thoughtful sustainability. It's a historic 19th-century manor among vineyards and olive groves, close to Lake Garda, yet it feels quiet and tucked away even with so much nearby to do. We appreciated the refillable toiletries, organic food, energy-saving systems, and water conservation measures. The team made a real difference to our stay. From the director to reception and restaurant staff, everyone was friendly and attentive, and they went out of their way to accommodate us. We felt welcome from the moment we arrived. Our room was spotless, recently renovated with clear attention to detail, and everything was in good working order. The air conditioning and Wi-Fi worked flawlessly. It was a peaceful, comfortable place to unwind after exploring. There are lots of options around: hiking or cycling in the hills, Lake Garda, nearby Bardolino, water parks, and Gardaland Resort. Breakfast was another highlight, with fresh local food and vegetarian-friendly choices. Parking was easy and free. We didn't need them, but bike rentals and car services are also available on request. The outdoor pool and hot tub looked inviting and well maintained. We'd recommend it for a romantic weekend, a quiet solo break, or a relaxing stop on a longer trip. Thanks to the whole team for making it so memorable. We hope to return soon.

We spent five nights here, and the service was excellent from the start. Eleonore greeted us on arrival with the biggest smile. I wish every lobby staff member welcomed people like that, amazing! Breakfast was delicious, and our room was spacious with clean beds. A hidden gem in Veronese.

The property itself is beautiful, but we had a negative stay at Borgo Romantico Relais in July 2024. The way our early arrival was handled left us feeling unwelcome, and that feeling stuck with us. We arrived an hour before check-in and didn't expect to get into our room right away. We only hoped to leave our luggage and have a drink in the lobby or by the pool. The room was already ready, but the receptionist's response set a poor tone. We never felt so unwelcome after arriving early. The room was spacious, but hard to cool: the air conditioning couldn't be set below 26 degrees, apparently by design, which was uncomfortable in summer. The bathroom ventilation grate was visibly dirty. We reported it, and it was cleaned quickly. The shower doors barely shut, making each use feel like the cabin might break. That was frustrating and inconvenient. We were also disappointed that fresh bathroom towels are free only every three days. Getting them sooner costs extra, and no towels were provided for the pool. For a hotel in this price range, that's not what we expected. Noise from the nearby highway was another major issue. Reviews said it could depend on wind direction, but while we were there the wind shifted between two directions and the traffic noise continued either way. Breakfast was decent, with a reasonable choice, but orange juice and some other basic items cost extra, at a surprisingly high price. The lack of customer focus and comfort took away from the stay. We wouldn't return.

The vineyard setting was beautiful and peaceful, with lovely countryside views. We stayed over Easter while visiting Garda and Verona, and found the hotel a great choice. Our room was spacious, rustic in style, and felt homey. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, and breakfast was very good.
