The hosts are incredibly friendly, and the view is breathtaking. Lake Garda, with all it has to offer, is only about 8 minutes away by car, while the property itself is wonderfully peaceful. We’d gladly return anytime. ❤️ A couple of small things could be better: the supplies, like cutlery, are somewhat limited, and our apartment didn’t have a single hook for towels or clothes. Still, the place is absolutely worth it.

Giampaolo made us feel so welcome, and the service was attentive and efficient. Our apartment was spotless and just right. In the countryside, surrounded by a lovely garden and the beautiful Verona landscape, it felt like the Italy I’ve always loved. The lake and Gardaland theme parks are only minutes away. The owner lives on site and is very welcoming, with good suggestions for getting a feel for everyday Italian life. The apartment in the annex was lovely and clean, and there’s an inviting pool for a refreshing swim. The quiet, well-kept property sits among vineyards. For an evening walk along the lake or dinner, Bardolino is about 5 km away.

The saltwater pool was well maintained, and the other people around the property didn’t bother us, though the host was often there, along with some of his people. He has an apartment in the house. We rented the annex with three friends; another building there has two apartments, each for two people. If you’re looking for peace and quiet, that setup may be an important thing to consider. At first the house seemed clean enough, but we noticed more and more little dirty spots as time went on. 🙈
