This review is long overdue, but better late than never. We spent four days at Hotel La Dolce Vita in April, and came home feeling as rested as if we’d been away for two weeks. We can’t wait to return. The owners welcomed us like family from the moment we arrived. The owner has had an extraordinary life and may share her story if you’re lucky enough to earn her trust. She and her daughter are two of the most delightful people I’ve met recently. That personal warmth and level of service feel rare these days. The hotel itself is charming too. The terrace view is breathtaking, especially at sunset, even if our photo doesn’t quite show it. Breakfast was delicious and varied. We also liked having bicycles available, so we could explore the nearby waterfront for a swim or wander around the picturesque Italian village where the hotel sits. The owner knows the region inside out and always has great suggestions for things to do and places to see. It was an unforgettable stay. We’re looking forward to coming back as soon as we can! The terrace, with flowers all around and a view of Lake Garda, was a lovely place to sit. Carolina, the hotel owner, greeted my boyfriend and me with a smile and welcome drinks when we arrived. The hotel is decorated with what look like carefully chosen antiques, and our very clean room had high ceilings and a balcony facing the lake. Breakfast was included and very good. We used the hotel as a base to visit the towns we had in mind, with Lezise, Bardolino and Sirmione all an easy drive away. Carolina even took time out of her own day to drive us somewhere at the last minute, which we really appreciated. We had a great stay and will definitely return. I can't recommend it enough.

The owner and hostess was so helpful whenever we asked for anything. We booked directly by email, which was easy, and the location worked well for getting around the east side of the lake. The room was spacious and clean, with a large bed, lovely furnishings and a view of Lake Garda. The décor was beautiful too. Breakfast had a wide choice, and the peaches with honey and orange juice were especially delicious.

A small, lovely hotel, with great views from both the rooms and restaurant. We slept well on the huge, comfortable beds, and the air conditioning in the rooms was welcome. Breakfast was amazing, with lots of cakes to pick from.

We had a really good time here. The hotel and rooms were stylish and very clean, and everyone was friendly. There was plenty to choose from at the wonderful breakfast.
