Albergo Stella

The location is excellent, near both the cable cars and the city center. The food was excellent too, and the staff were friendly. The restaurant also welcomes people who aren't staying at the hotel. I thought the social project supporting jobs for people with disabilities and vulnerable groups was a wonderful experience.

The staff welcomed us with such warmth and smiles that this simple little hotel felt almost like home. Our room was very nice, better than we expected, though it does need some renovation, especially the bathrooms. I imagine that would raise the cost of a stay quite a bit. Dinner was excellent every night, with generous portions and different dishes each time. I'm grateful to the staff for their hospitality and for creating such a lovely atmosphere.

We were there from August 19th to 26th, and had a really positive stay. The staff were fantastic and always willing to help with any problems. The rooms were clean, and the hotel was close to the city center. They also served excellent gluten-free dinners. Thanks to everyone on the staff.

We were made to feel very welcome, especially our four-legged friends, thanks to the friendly staff. The hotel's in a great spot near the center and several restaurants, and its own restaurant is superb. The rooms are basic, a little old-fashioned, and maybe smaller than at other hotels, but they were cleaned daily. Breakfast was good, though there weren't many savory options for people who like those. Not an issue for me this time :) Great value for money.
