The rooms are tiny, with awful old furniture and carpeted floors, so anyone with allergies should stay away. We spent one night at the Grunwald, which was more than enough. I almost never post reviews, but I can't understand the four-star rating or all the positive reviews on Booking and Google. They don't match what we experienced. I'd give it no more than two stars, and the reviews at most 4/10.

At dinner, the portions were very small and the food was poor quality. The people serving us were really nice and polite, but the stay was still a very poor experience. We had booked because we were promised a large room with separate beds. When we arrived, they said they'd given it to a family to make extra money, so we got a room with a second bed that was a child's sofa bed.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and breakfast was okay, though dinner was pretty average. The wellness area seemed fine, but the hot pool water was cold. Our room was very cold too. I had to sleep wearing a hat, and apparently they couldn't raise the temperature. This doesn't feel like a four-star hotel. Maybe it did 20 years ago.
