Park Hotel Azalea

We were surprised by how good the food was, especially since I'm a picky eater. Breakfast and dinner both offered lots of options, including great vegan choices. The staff were super friendly and made sure we had what we needed, and the rooms were clean, cozy and comfortable. It was a wonderful, relaxing stay, and we'd definitely come back. The hotel made things easy and cared about our comfort.

A quiet back street location with a parking lot, garden, sun terrace and tables for meals on the patio. The views from the windows were amazing, and the modern rooms had excellent beds. Staff were nice and helpful. Breakfast featured plenty of local products, and if you choose half board, dinner is very nice, with an extensive appetizer and salad buffet. What a lovely small hotel. The staff were lovely and friendly, and really made us feel at home. Azalea is in a quiet spot, just a 5-10 minute walk from the center of Cavalese, which is unusual in mountain towns where hotels are often along the main road. Guests also get the free Cembra guest card, with lots of benefits and discounts, including free public transport. We loved relaxing in the big garden on the sunbeds, with the mountain view. Our room had a balcony with a mountain view, too, and was split into two areas so everyone could have some privacy. Breakfast was fresh and tasty, with lots of sweet and savory choices. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant once, and it was delicious and well priced. There's also an afternoon snack for guests, a fantastic idea after a full day walking in the mountains when it's too early for dinner. I can't think of a single thing I didn't like. For me, this was an absolutely perfect place for a vacation. If you're after a quiet place for a pleasant, quality vacation, this is definitely a good choice.

They wouldn't even let me use the toilet, which was extremely unfriendly. They're listed as a charging station, and apparently taking rent from the energy company, but only allow their own customers to use the station. You have an agreement with the charging company that pays you rent, and they say the station is working. I trust them, because I'm sure they'd let anyone use their toilets. If someone shows up believing there's a charging station there, and tells you they've driven two hours to get to your emergency room, please show some sympathy and understanding. Be human.
