Lovely.

The setting is wonderful, right on the beach, with a lovely garden of maritime pines and their unmistakable scent. Everyone on staff deserves thanks. This was my first time at Santa Maria Assunta Holiday Home, both as a retreat center and as a place to stay, and it was a very positive experience. I have celiac disease and milk protein allergies, but I still enjoyed a good breakfast and excellent daily meals. There's nothing negative I can say. I'd gladly return as soon as possible. THANK YOU

The rooms, bathrooms, and balconies are spacious, which I haven't found in a long time, even at four- and five-star hotels in Jesolo. The grounds are green, roomy, and well kept, and the beach in front is quiet and not crowded. Inside, everything is very clean, including the shared bathrooms. The dining room was a little confusing, mainly because of how the food was presented and the limited variety. The reservation sheet doesn't make it easy to know what you'll be served the next day. Staff were courteous, though not fully professional. Jasmine deserves a special mention for being so kind, attentive, helpful, and always smiling.

I'm really disappointed. I remembered this as a more welcoming place, without such obvious social differences, but I had to change my mind. The staff are unfriendly. At lunch, people aren't served equally, those with noble or military titles get served first. The same thing seems to happen when umbrellas are assigned. Never again.
