Free street parking was available, and the property is very close to Lecce. It was exceptionally clean, the customer service was excellent, and it had all the comforts. Highly recommended!

For the price, this is good value. The room has plenty of space, a comfortable bed, and modern amenities like a fridge, air conditioning, TV, and hairdryer. The bathroom is roomy too, with a bidet and shower. Street parking is available. Cavallino is a decent base for exploring Salento, even if the location itself isn't the best. From here it's 15 minutes to Lecce, 25 to San Foca, 30 to Otranto, 40 to Punta Prosciutto, and 60 to Santa Maria di Leuca. The price is fair.

The room was "normal," and the area is on the outskirts of Lecce, though there was always parking nearby. The quality for the price is advantageous. The one real problem, and it affects my rating, was the noise from the systems, which I think was a water pump. It kept me from getting proper rest. The owners had been told about it before but did nothing, which is a shame.

The owner's father greeted us warmly and cordially, and the place itself is modern, well maintained, and impeccably clean. The bathroom was practical and functional. Just check carefully which room you book, and make sure it has a kitchen. I'm used to other B&Bs having a shared space with a kitchenette, sink, and fridge, but apparently that's not a given in Puglia. Some rooms only have a rather weak mini-fridge, so during our stay we had a "bed" but no "breakfast." I can't say the same for the owner, whom we were "lucky" to meet for the last two minutes of our stay on the landing, with our suitcases at the door, just long enough to pay by POS. I had to wait more than a month for the payment receipt and also contact Booking.com. Three stars for the clean, good-quality room, but I wouldn't consider returning.
