Dinner was a real treat, thanks to the high-quality ingredients. The whole team put in a lot of effort to make sure we were looked after, and the atmosphere made the place even better.

The rooms are nicely renovated, and I enjoyed staying there. I barely interacted with the staff apart from paying, but everything went smoothly and I didn't need anything else. Breakfast is at the bar across the market square. The coffee was very good, though the breakfast itself doesn't compare with a hotel breakfast. There are only a few rooms, so book early. You can park in the market square, but someone scratched my car while it was there.

The kind female staff guided us through the regional dishes and local wines, all very typical and tasty. It's a pleasant surprise not far from Reggio Emilio, and worth a trip or even a quick stop.

The lambrusco was a favorite, and the traditional Emiliana food had a few modern touches. It felt quiet and relaxed, almost like being at home. Prices seemed a bit high for the area, but it was worth it. They don't speak English there.
