Set up on a hill in the middle of nature, this is a wonderfully quiet, secluded spot. The only little nuisance was the neighbor's dog sometimes leaving a mess on the lawn.

The location made it easy to explore Lake Garda in both Lombardy and Veneto, and Punta Grò beach in Sirmione was only 20 minutes away. It was also away from the August crowds, which made for a relaxing holiday. We spent two weeks here and felt right at home thanks to the caring, friendly owners, who were discreet and attentive. Our room was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed.

The garden is peaceful and well kept, with a table and chairs for guests, plus a deckchair and swing. The farmhouse is tastefully renovated, and our very spacious room had simple furnishings, air conditioning, mosquito nets, and a TV. The bed and pillows were in excellent condition, and the free Wi-Fi was decent. Some of the nets had holes, though, so they need attention. The place is handy for both Lake Garda and Mantua, near Castellaro Lagusello, and there are plenty of free local information leaflets. Cleanliness was good but could have been better. Breakfast needs the most work: the milk was only shelf-stable, most items were packaged, even the bread, and the coffee was only so-so. The fresh fruit was a plus, and the homemade cake was delicious. Guests can use the shared fridge, but not the kitchen, which is a shame. The price felt fair, and with a few changes this could be excellent.

We spent a weekend here at the end of March 2023 and would happily come back. The owner was so kind and helpful. Our room was spacious, clean, and beautifully renovated, and the kitchenette was well equipped and really useful. It’s a lovely B&B in a quiet spot.
