The rooms at Hotel Ristorante Alla Corte dei Bicchi were clean and pleasant. But the air-conditioning remotes were all kept away, and when I asked at reception for one, I was told they didn't have any. Breakfast also had very few choices, which took away from an otherwise nice stay.

Dinner was the highlight of our five-day August vacation here. We ate at the hotel twice, and both meals were delicious, beautifully presented, and served really well. It gets busy, so you need to reserve and arrive on time. The menu is available in English and Italian. The hotel is near Lake Garda and Mantova, as well as close to Verona and Desenzano. I'd happily recommend staying here and having dinner at the restaurant.

The food and drinks at the "corte dei bicchi" were the best I've had in Lombardia. I had a lovely night here, and the service was great. I'll definitely come back.
