The one drawback was the access road, which was very bumpy and no good for a low-slung car like my hybrid. A storm the day before had caused serious, dangerous damage, though I'm sure the road will be restored. Despite that, I'll definitely return. The house is a delightful Tuscan-style place, surrounded by green olive trees and an orchard, with terracotta tiles throughout. It was clean, bright and spacious enough for a family of four or more. We got a warm welcome and tasted local wine and olive oil.
