Apartment Cecina

Cecina makes a handy base for exploring the Etruscan Coast. Pisa, Volterra, San Gimignano and Piombino are all within about 50 km, and Piombino has the ferry terminal for Elba. The nearby hill towns, including Bolgheri and Casale M.mo, are charming too. Pisa Airport is around 45 km away and connected by train, or you can reach Cecina by car via the Tyrrhenian motorway. It’s a Tuscan coastal town of about 25,000 people. The apartment is in the city center on a quiet street, about a 3-5 minute walk from the train station and central bus stop. There’s free parking on the nearby parallel streets. The sea is roughly 2.5 km away, along the lovely pine-lined avenue to Marina di Cecina, known for its 8 km pine forest and the "Acquavillage" amusement park. You can borrow up to five bikes for free during your stay. Inside, there’s a large living room, a small terrace and a kitchenette with a four-burner stove, microwave, fridge, washing machine and full cookware set. The bathroom has a tub and shower, toilet, bidet and sink. There’s also a TV, fans, and smoke and gas detectors. Sleeping space includes a large bedroom with a double bed and another bedroom with a double and a single, for up to five adults. It’s on the first floor of a historic building, with period furnishings and traditional Tuscan brick vaults dating to the late 19th century.
