Relais San Baio

We only wished we could have stayed longer. The gardens and accommodation are beautifully kept and perfect for relaxing. Lorenzo was so friendly and went out of his way to help: he stored our bikes, let us wash them after a very muddy ride, helped with a restaurant reservation, and even arranged a pizza order one evening. Breakfast was extremely good, with local products to enjoy on the beautiful terrace. Grazie mille, Lorenzo, Sara and Mirco🙏

We felt like family when we arrived and left with so many lovely memories. Our favorite hotel, and we’ll be back! Set among olive trees, it’s quiet and relaxing, with a small but beautiful pool. The staff deserve a mention of their own. They were always smiling, welcoming, and ready to help, even finding us a pack of cards for a rainy afternoon. Special thanks to Nico for arranging breakfast for us before our 3am departure. Those thoughtful touches made the stay even better. San Baio made it easy to relax and feel removed from everyday life. The rooms were very comfortable and clean, and the quality toiletries and bedding made them great value. This isn’t a chain, it’s an experience. The location is handy for exploring nearby areas, and the staff know the region well and were quick to help arrange a day out. Our stay was perfect. For once, leaving somewhere was genuinely difficult. We’ll be back!

Our suite was spacious and private, with a terrace where we could sit outside and unwind after a long day by the pool. The staff were both professional and friendly, and the homemade food at breakfast was delicious. The breakfast room was fantastic, too. This place is magical, tucked into the Tuscan countryside and wonderfully peaceful. It’s an adults-only relais, with no one under 18, and it’s extremely well maintained with lovely details. I can’t say enough good things about this little piece of heaven. Can’t wait to come back. Highly recommended, five stars aren’t enough. :)
