It wasn't a bad stay, all things considered, but the place could use some general upkeep. It feels like it may once have been great, then deteriorated with time or perhaps new ownership. Supplies for daily needs, including cleaning, were limited. The AC in our kitchen leaked badly and soaked and damaged the area. A mop was being used to dry it, and it looked like the problem had been going on without any attempt to fix it. The garden furniture was filthy, almost as if the patio had been jet-washed onto it. You'll definitely need a car. The route to the nearest shop doesn't even have a pavement, which isn't the owners' fault, but a notice with local taxi numbers might help visitors get around.

I can't recommend this accommodation. We checked in on September 6th and found a room completely unlike the one shown on Booking.com: mold on the walls, hair on the bed, and ants inside. We reported it right away and left that same day without staying overnight. Staff said the refund would be handled through Booking.com, but they still refuse to cooperate. Booking.com says nothing can be done, while the accommodation sends us back to Booking. Very unprofessional and disappointing. The room was unhygienic, and the service after we left has been unacceptable. Don't book here.

We were four adults and two children and stayed for three nights. Check-in was fine and quick. The cabins were spacious and clean, with comfortable beds and sofa beds, though the interior feels cheap. Some windows have cracks; the host said they were perfectly safe. Supplies were sparse too: just two dishwasher tablets and hardly any cleaning cloths, even though guests are expected to leave the kitchen clean. The accommodation is in a quiet natural area among olive trees, a good base for trips to Pisa and Lucca. The large Conad supermarket is a three-minute drive away. Reception was fine, but there are black ants outside, red ants inside the cabin, and lots of mosquitoes, so bring protection. The pool looked lovely, but its small stones can be very sharp. My children hurt their fingers and toes, and my son injured his nose when he bumped into a pool wall.

It could have been great, but there were so many little things that needed fixing or more care. Several doors and windows in our bungalow wouldn't open or work properly. The air conditioning was extremely complicated and pretty much unusable. The shower fan was hanging out of the ceiling, as were some lamps, and the shower leaked into both the bathroom and bedroom. The kitchen felt careless too: no dish soap, sponge, or brush, no salt or sugar, and not one fork matched another. There were several broken things, and please don't mow the lawn somewhere around the property every day from 8 am onward.
