We were welcomed so warmly, and Cefalù is right at your fingertips here. The hotel sits on a little street full of restaurants and shops, just a few minutes on foot from the cathedral and beach. For the price, it's very good value. The seaview rooms have small balconies, but they're enough to sit out and watch the huge waves crash against the rocky shore. Our room wasn't large, though it was fine, and the bathroom was compact too. It had a shower, toilet, bidet, and a handy small shelf for a toiletries bag. There's room in a fridge and a kettle to use, but breakfast isn't included. It's a colourful, quirky little place. A couple of things could be better: the bed was pretty hard on my old back, and the pillow felt like cement. There were only flimsy plastic cups, with no mugs, plates, or cutlery.

We booked sea view room nr5, and the sound of the waves was a real treat. Even with restaurants right below us, the noise didn't go on for long or bother us. Patricia welcomed us so kindly. Cefalu is a charming city, and this is a cozy place to stay. I recommend this room if you like hearing the sea.

The view really made the stay for us. Book one of the seaview apartments if you can, the sea view is amazing, and the staff are lovely. The sheets smelled a bit, though, and the bed was stiff and hard. It's a charming B&B.

I was hit by a car in Cefalú and had to find somewhere to stay urgently for a month. High season prices were ridiculously expensive, but I managed to get a roughly affordable rate here. I needed an invoice for my insurance. I was told it would cost 400 euro extra because of tax. I paid 500 euro in cash for two weeks. The initial agreement was for a month, as I knew I would have surgery on my hand and it would be put in a cast. I went to Cefalú hospital for surgery, and bought fruit beforehand. I was in hospital for five days, so it went bad and smelled. When I came back, my hand was freshly operated on and in a cast. Nobody had told me where to throw the fruit away, so I put it with the other garbage. The host told me off. I said I didn't know, and she replied, 'So now you know, and other guest are complaining about the smell'. After we argued, I was told that if I didn't like it, I should leave. So I did. Nobody offered to carry my luggage downstairs despite my hand being in a cast, or to order a taxi to my new place. At least I got the invoice for insurance without the extra 400 euro for 'tax'. Edit: Nobody blocked my number. I bought flowers for the lady who helped me, to show my gratitude. Is that bad treatment? It would have been enough to tell me in advance where to put the garbage, and politely explain that guests are responsible for clearing it. I'm attaching a screenshot of the garbage conversation for reference, since you said I replied as an 'eneducated person'. Speaking of education, please improve your English. I repeat: 'The prices in high season are ridiculously expensive but I manager to stay here for roughly affordable price', which refers to your claim that I said the price was excessive. I even gave the numbers to make it clear. Recovery from surgery takes months, and getting out of hospital doesn't mean I could immediately take care of everything, including garbage, which is the host's duty. What other problems did I cause? Or are you exaggerating to defend yourself? You also claim I created more problems 'for those who wanted to help me'. How many people could I possibly have met in such a short time who woul help? By help, I don't mean a 'paid service'. I paid what I was told to pay and left as demanded. You needed a pretext to kick me out because better money was aligned for the room. Simply. Edit 2: The receipt has no codici fiscale or official 2 euro stamp, which needs to be added to any payment as an anti-fraud procedure. I explained that I'd been hit by a car, would have hand surgery covered by insurance, and needed all the documents in order because insurance would reimburse my accommodation. I submitted all the documents according to Italian law, as guaranteed by the lawyer handling my case. Posting true statements online is also in line with the law. Nothing I wrote is false.

I had the smallest room, and it was awesome! It was compact but cute and well put together, with everything I needed. Fan, AC, fresh air, and wooden shutters. Really enjoyed it!
