The resort is beautiful, the hosts are great, and the room was clean with nice facilities. It's about a 15-minute drive to the town center, which is the one downside. I'd definitely recommend it if you're planning to drive.

The owner was rude and dishonest in how she dealt with us. We asked questions before our stay and got no answers until the day we were due to arrive. Her messages were aggressive, and she blamed guests rather than reflecting on her own behaviour. Booking wouldn't give us a refund, despite what we saw as a clear lack of honesty from the owner. The listing leaves out important details and gives misleading information. It says publicly that buses and taxis are available from Cefalù, but there is no bus to the property. The owner said a taxi from Cefalù would cost around €15-20 one way, which can make the trip more expensive than the room itself. She also said all the nearby restaurants close “off-season”, meaning from the end of August, so you have to take a taxi there and back just to get food. Avoid this place at any cost.

We had no practical way to get to or use the hotel, so we cancelled our Cefalù trip and found last-minute accommodation at a much higher price. The owner was dismissive and unhelpful, and wouldn't assist or refund us, even though other guests have described the same misleading details and poor communication. We'd booked because the listing said the hotel was near Cefalù, reachable on foot, and served by buses. None of that was true. There was no bus, walking took over 1 hour 20 minutes, and a taxi was the only way to get there, at 15-20€ each way. The listing also mentioned restaurants nearby, but the owner later told us all four were closed. We asked about luggage storage right after booking and heard nothing for two weeks. The owner finally replied less than 12 hours before we were due to arrive, confirming there was no transport or open restaurant nearby. Avoid it if you want to visit Cefalù. It's far away and isolated, with no access unless you have a car, and the listing is misleading. The host's communication was unprofessional.

Archi Bianchi felt like a restful, kind place to land after coming from Palermo, where my expectations weren't high. It's beautifully decorated, quiet, and full of thoughtful details. Our room was just right, with heating/AC and a large walk-in closet. The bed was warm and comfortable, and although the bathroom was shared, it was clean. We were lucky to have it to ourselves during our stay. The beach is gorgeous and quiet, about a 10-minute walk away, and the route there is charming. As two women travelling together, we felt safe. We had a car, so getting to Cefalú was quick and easy. Armando was the nicest person I met in Sicily. He replied quickly by text from the start and was always attentive and helpful with our questions and requests. His restaurant tip, Tinchite’, was spot on, we went twice. Huge thanks to Armando. I'd definitely recommend the place and come back.
