BB Borgo Marino

We were able to leave our car at the B&B for two days for a small fee, which was really handy after we decided not to drive to Palermo. The owner kindly arranged that for us. Breakfast was plentiful, and the service was very good. We stayed for two nights in this lovely little B&B. It isn't especially modern, but the bed was comfortable and both the room and bathroom were very large. Getting to the town centre takes about a 20-minute walk, and part of the route has no path as you cross the railway line. I'd happily stay again.

The staff were welcoming and helpful, and breakfast was okay. The room itself was a mixed bag. The floor could have been cleaner, the bathroom bin was still dirty from previous guests, and we had ants in the room. The air conditioner drips water into a can inside, which isn't great if you're a light sleeper. The railway tracks are right beside the property, so it can be noisy at times. Definitely not the place for you if you're picky.

Elena and Daniele made us feel at home, and their local tips really helped us explore the area. They were so warm and polite. We also found the prices very competitive for what we got, and we'd love to return to Borgo Marino. The bedrooms were fresh and comfortable, and breakfast had a delicious range of choices. Our stay at Borgo Marino in Cefalù was truly unforgettable. Highly recommend it!

The staff were super friendly and nice. But there wasn't a swimming pool, even though the picture here shows one. For that price, I expected a more comfortable room, including a better mattress and pillows.
