Club Med Cefalù

It’s a gorgeous place, and the food was good, but seasoning was all over the place: almost everything needed salt, while the bacon was so salty it was inedible. The glasses were disgusting every time, with the previous person’s lipstick still on them. They need to invest in a proper dishwasher. Waiting staff could be friendlier and smile more. They also kept shushing us and our guests, telling us to be quiet. Aside from that, it’s a great place.

The club itself is marvelous, with a perfect atmosphere, and the rooms and overall ambience are very nice. The food is pleasant but nothing special. Restaurant service, especially at breakfast, was difficult: coffee took around 20-30 minutes, and self-service wasn't accepted.

The resort is stunning, with breathtaking views, delicious food, and so many activities. Every detail seemed to be handled with care and professionalism, and the staff were kind, attentive, and always ready to help. From arrival, their warm smiles made us feel at home in this beautiful paradise. Rafael at reception was especially attentive. Thanks to the whole team for making our stay so special. I can’t wait to return!

The language situation made it hard to follow the entertainment, which was all spoken in French, and French seemed to be the main language generally. The food was very average compared with other restaurants nearby. For most meals the cafeteria-style buffet was basically the only choice: the one or two other resort restaurants were booked out in advance for our whole stay, so we eventually left to eat in town. Service was average and the staff weren't friendly. We had to work to get anyone's attention, and they charged more tourist tax than they had advertised. The experience wasn't worth the money for us, and if we'd known what to expect, we wouldn't have stayed.
