We were disappointed to find that the rooftop terrace shown in the main photo is reserved for the private suites. We had expected to sit up there for a drink in the afternoon and look out over the city. The description and photos made the stay feel misleading, which makes it hard to give five stars. The staff were friendly, though they didn’t help with our bags, even though the two of us had more than five between us. The location is genuinely good, close to so much, and the hotel itself was good.

We’ve stayed here two years in a row, in different rooms, and the suite with a balcony and hillside view is still our favorite. Every room is lovely, and the location is so convenient, just 5 minutes from the beach. Breakfast is delicious, especially the mini croissants 🥐, and the staff are incredibly friendly and happy to help with requests. We’re coming back in a week and can’t wait!

We spent plenty of our time out on scenic trips around town, so the room size worked well for us. It’s a smaller, quiet place in a great location. I know some people find the rooms very small, but for our trip this was a solid choice.

La Plumeria gave us a good stay, and we enjoyed the breakfast. The hotel is in a carefully renovated medieval palace along the historic center’s main street. From there, the Arab-Norman Cathedral and Cefalù’s beach are close by, right in the heart of the Old Town.

We had a lovely room and found the staff pleasant. The place felt very secure, and communication about getting there was great. It’s right in the old city.
