Le Calette N°5

The setting is beautiful, with a nice pool and great access to the beach club. The view is gorgeous, but the price isn't worth it for me, and I wouldn't return. The “deluxe” rooms are small and look onto the public pool. If you want privacy, you end up keeping the room dark, which doesn't feel like a 5-star experience. Service was slow. Other hotels have gorgeous views too.

Francesco at the bar made our afternoons memorable. His cocktails were creative and unique, among the best we had, and his warmth, humor, and conversation kept drawing us back. Le Calette in Cefalù was one of the highlights of our time in Sicily. The hotel is beautiful, elegant but relaxed, and connected to the surrounding landscape. The rooms felt considered and luxurious while still having the warmth and soul of Sicily. The pool and bar areas are stunning, and the small private beach in the rocks below felt like a hidden Mediterranean dream. There's also an excellent gym, and the whole property feels carefully looked after.

The private beach made for a wonderful swim in the clear blue water, and our group dinner was lovely with impeccable service. We spent two nights at Hotel Le Calette as part of a Backroads trip in Italy. It was a first-class hotel in every way. We were escorted to our room after checking in, and it was wonderful, with a great bathroom and shower and a terrific view of the pool and Tyrrhenian Sea.

Getting to the center of Cefalù was an easy and enjoyable walk. We had a wonderful stay at Le Calette, with exceptional service from a very attentive, professional team. Breakfast was amazing, with lots of variety and high-quality products. We'd happily return!
