Right by the Duomo, tucked among the lovely narrow streets of Cefalù's historic center. The apartment had a nice old feel and was clean, with AC. The WiFi could be slow at times, and getting up to the third floor means using a steep, narrow staircase. That was the only drawback.

From the window you can catch a glimpse of the sea, and the Cathedral is just steps away. The house has all the comforts you need and is about 350 meters from the sea, right in the historic center, with its cobbled streets and views over the town. If you want to get away from paved streets and the city's scorching concrete, this is a lovely spot.

The apartment is right by the Duomo, so you can get around Cefalù on foot without needing transport. The sea is only a five-minute walk away. We were welcomed with a refreshing glass of juice, much appreciated in the summer, and the owners were very kind. The air conditioning worked great, and so did the WiFi.

The only downside was the stairs: the apartment is on the third floor of an old building. Otherwise, it's in Cefalù's historic center, close to the Duomo.

The directions from the owners were vague and didn't match reality. This isn't seafront, it's on a narrow lane in the center with no car access. Getting luggage up to the second floor is hard because the stairway is dark, steep, and narrow. The photos make the place look better than it is.
