Molo 78 - camera Molo 8

Salvatore looked after every need, big or small, with warmth and professionalism. We spent a dream week of sun, art, and sea in fabulous Cefalù. Molo 7/8 is in one of the historic center's characteristic alleys leading to the pier, two minutes from the Arab-Norman Cathedral and the sea. The apartment is bright, clean, functional, quiet, and fully air-conditioned, with two terraces and splendid views. The bathroom was dirty and clearly hadn't been sanitized, with long hairs scattered around. Access to the apartment we were moved to was a real struggle with our suitcases, up extremely narrow, steep stairs to the second floor. The room was large enough, but inconvenient to reach. On arrival, the room wasn't the one we'd booked on Booking. We got the impression the company assigns rooms according to some unknown system, just not the one you reserve. The first room had no windows, a musty smell, and plaster falling from the ceiling. After we complained, they moved us to another apartment at no extra cost. Given the COVID period, I wouldn't recommend staying in these properties.

The property was impeccably clean, discreet, and in an excellent location. The big drawback is the three flights of steep, narrow stairs. I had told them well ahead of time when I would arrive, but still ended up waiting outside for the guy to open the door. Ten minutes in the scorching sun with my suitcases and tiredness was acceptable, all things considered. Recommended, though there are better options.

A lovely little apartment, very clean, with perfect bedding and a great location. It's on a quiet street ☀️
