The pool and beach are the big draw for families, with the beach just a minute away on foot. Olive trees shade parts of the pool, and the owner has put hammocks between them where you can relax and look out over the view without sitting in direct sun. The view is impeccable. It was very hot when we visited Cefalu, so we spent most of our time in the water and kept popping back to the apartment for food, drinks, or the bathroom. A car is a good idea if you stay here. Cefalu's old town is a five-minute drive and MD supermarket is two minutes away. There's free private parking inside the property. Bring your own shampoo and shower gel, and definitely mosquito spray. Once it cools down a little in the early evening, there are lots of mosquitoes and we got bitten many times.

The apartment felt like a nicotine dungeon, and the hygiene was compromised. Some kind of bugs had made tunnels in the old furniture. On the plus side, parking inside the compound was excellent, as was the beach. The beach showers were great too, right on the beach within the compound.

The owner was really kind and helpful, and getting to Cefalù or the supermarket only takes a few minutes by car. The supermarket is about five minutes away. It's a quiet, well-organized modern property, with greenery, a private pool and a private path down to the sea. Private parking on site is handy. Highly recommended!

Giovanni and his family made this feel like a heartfelt experience, far more than just a holiday. We had days of pure relaxation, surrounded by nature and quiet, and shared some special moments. The sea is only steps away, there's a panoramic pool, and the apartments are well kept. We can't wait to come back to this little corner of paradise in Cefalù!
