Seaview Rooms in the city center by Wonderful Italy

Seaview Rooms is about a 10-minute walk from the center rather than right in it. The accommodation is functional and has everything you need. You can check in without a mobile phone, though it takes more coordination than using a smartphone. Cefalu, like many lovely towns in southern Italy, has been overrun by tourism, but you can still get a sense of its charm from bygone days.

Hot water was out for a day and a half. After I called the manager numerous times, he sent a plumber, but the water stopped working again. The manager was rude when I complained, saying he only had to provide the essentials. My room’s air conditioning also didn’t work, and I was accused of breaking it, though the manager later apologized after it malfunctioned. The bathroom was missing even basic things: a non-slip mat, a hook for towels, a stool for toiletries, and more than one roll of toilet paper for the whole stay. Honestly, my advice is to change jobs.

The room was nice and couldn’t have been cleaner, and the view was good too. I’d recommend it to everyone.

The rooms were clean and very welcoming, and the owner was so kind. I’ll definitely come back.
