Not recommended. The B&B is in an alley near the central square in Ceglie Messapica, and getting up to the floor was inconvenient. The key was left in a mailbox, with nobody at reception. The room was bare, with no air conditioning. Its small terrace faced the inside of the building, and there was engine noise until the room below was closed. There were two beds and pillows from the 1940s, two bedside tables, two stools, a working fridge, and a TV mounted high. Just the bare essentials. Breakfast was awful, there was absolutely nothing. We got two coffees only after asking for breakfast. Payment was cash only.

The owner was fantastic, friendly, and always available. The B&B is central, the rooms are very spacious and have plenty of furniture and coat hangers, and the bed was really comfortable. Everything was very clean, and the value was excellent. Highly recommended.

The rooms were simple but pleasant. Breakfast was a disaster, though: stale cereal that seemed to have been sitting around unopened for ages, discount-store fruit juice, and just a few packaged pastries. Nothing fresh or homemade. The small breakfast room didn’t have enough tables and chairs for everyone, so some guests had to stand while eating the meager breakfast.

The owner is friendly, and the place is quiet despite being in the village center. It would suit anyone staying a night or two. The furniture mixes vintage and modern pieces, but could do with an update. There was no soap or shower gel in the bathroom. Breakfast was basic, with coffee or cappuccino, toast, individual jams, and packaged snacks.

A good place to stay in the center of Ceglie Messapica. The room was large and quaint, though the bathroom was small, and breakfast was average. You can park on the nearby streets. The center has electronic gates. To save money, call to book directly instead of using sites like Booking.com.
