The beautiful infinity style pool will keep the kids entertained throughout the holiday. The Masseria is also well situated, just a 15 minute stroll from Ceglie Messapica, with its white washed walls and central piazza, the hub of Ceglie life.

We loved our ten days at Masseria il Mandorlo Fiorito. The location made it easy to explore Puglia: within an hour’s drive there are countless lovely towns, including Ostuni, Martina Franca, Locorotondo, Lecce, Polignano a Mare, and the impressive Matera, which we highly recommend. Vanessa and Maggie also shared plenty of useful tips for restaurants and beaches nearby. We stayed in Villa Fico. The online photos were lovely, but the place was even more beautiful in person, and incredibly clean and tidy. Everything felt carefully decorated, inviting, and comfortable. The beds had excellent mattresses and comfortable pillows, so we slept wonderfully. There’s also a washing machine, handy for a longer stay. The pool was large and clean, with comfortable loungers and soft mattresses. The other cottage wasn’t rented during our stay, so we had the pool to ourselves, which was such a luxury and peaceful. Vanessa and Maggie respected our privacy, something we really appreciated. We also enjoyed meeting Pino and Maria, the owners. They’re so warm and kind. A few cats wander around the property, adding to the cozy feel without bothering anyone. From the start, Vanessa and Maggie, the owners’ incredibly sweet daughters, made us feel welcome, taking time to greet us with a warm smile. We had a wonderful holiday, highly recommend the Masseria, and hope to return. Thank you, Vanessa, Maggie, Pino, and Maria, for an unforgettable experience!

A really good choice. We chose the Itria Valley for a holiday because it’s close to the pristine sea and to lots of inland villages, and it turned out to be a strategic base. When we arrived in the late afternoon, Pino and Maria welcomed us warmly with a basket of fresh fruit. After a little chat, we felt at home right away. Our apartment was in perfect condition, with a clean, old world smell, a comfortable bed, and local style furnishings. We were so excited that we forgot how tired we were from the journey and went to explore. There was a swimming pool, lemon and olive trees, and complete silence around the large, local stone structure. It’s a true old farmhouse. We took the owners’ many recommendations and spent our days exploring villages among the countryside, trulli, and centuries old olive trees. When we got back, there was even a little snack by the pool. Almost every evening we had dinner, enjoying Maria’s delicious dishes while Pino took care of the grill. We finished with ice cold limoncello under the stars. We left happy with the experience and hope to return.
