We really loved our stay here. The trulli and the quiet natural surroundings gave us a real taste of Puglian life, and it suited us perfectly. We spent time by the pool and relaxed a lot. Such a nice, authentic place.

It feels like stepping back to the sixth century, with an Italian TV and a microwave, plus internet.

The floor was soaking wet and damp, so we had to leave.

A lovely spot.

We stayed at Trulli Santamaria in Ceglie Messapica last June as a family, and had such a good time. The house is a typical regional trullo and was very clean. It's not big, which makes sense for 200-year-old trulli, but we found it had what we needed. Outside there's plenty of comfortable space, and the location gave us privacy without making us feel cut off. The view across the Itria Valley hills is incredible, almost like Tuscany. At sunset, watching swallows swoop by to drink from the pool was such a beautiful, joyful sight. Monica, our assistant, was kind and available throughout, always thoughtful and attentive. HelloApulia were punctual, helpful, and very reputable. For the best rates, book with them directly instead of online.
